I've tried a bunch of clip-ons on my sensitive ears, but these are the best by far! These are the only clip ons that don't hurt my ears. I've gotten so many compliments and people can never tell that they are not actually pierced. So far I haven't had any problems with tarnishing. If you're on the fence about ordering, I say get them! They are amazing!
I personally am allergic to fake metal, and I don't have pierced ears, so having a clip-on version is perfect! especially since they are hypoallergenic.
